Cerial Project Services is a Canadian-based consulting and professional development firm supporting career growth, training, and workforce integration in supply chain, operations, and project management.
Through our Supply Chain Industry Network (SCIN) platform, we provide immigrant and Black professionals with resources such as networking, mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities. Our activities include weekly networking events, onboarding programs for newcomers, certification guidance, and mentorship matching, alongside collaboration with industry partners and employers.
As part of our mission to expand support and engagement across Canada, we are offering unpaid, part-time 4-month internships for Project Coordinators in three regions:
Ontario
Manitoba/Saskatchewan
Alberta/BC
These roles will help support the network operations and platform activities that keep SCIN impactful and accessible.
Responsibilities
- Networking Event Scheduling: Assist in planning Saturday networking sessions and regional events. .
- Event Logistics: Coordinate logistics for online and in-person programs, including scheduling, facility bookings, and technical support.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with Cerial’s Marketing Team on promotions, outreach, and success stories.
- Mentor & Resource Scheduling: Help match members with industry mentors and manage schedules for training sessions, webinars, and career support calls.
- Learning Design & Course Development: Contribute to the design, development, and scheduling of professional development courses (supply chain, project management, IT/analytics).
- Regional Engagement: Support local networking in Ontario, MB/SK, and Alberta/BC, including liaising with members and community stakeholders.
Must Have
- Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a program in Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management, Business, or related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack, or similar).
- Demonstrated interest in supply chain, project management, or community engagement.
- Availability of 3–5 hours per week for 4 months.
Nice to have
- Previous experience (volunteer, internship, or academic projects) in event planning, project coordination, or logistics support.
- Familiarity with marketing support tasks, such as social media promotion, creating simple flyers, or drafting event announcements.
- Experience working with learning design or curriculum development, especially in supply chain or project management topics.
- Exposure to professional associations or industry networks.
- Understanding of mentorship programs and how to support mentor/mentee matching.
